Q: How do I get  to ride the horse if I have never ridden before?

A: It is simple. For people who have never ridden before we provide a brief introduction to the basic horse riding steps. We promote and practise safe riding therefore the ride itself is provided to meet the level of experience and confidence of the rider.

Q:  Is it safe ?

A :Yes we practice safe riding .Safety of the rider and the horse means everything to us. Yet one should remember horse riding is classed as potentially risky sport, so therefore we try our best to make our costumers feel safe and comfortable.

Q : I live far from my grand children. Is i possible for you to organize Brithday Ride ?

A : For this purpose our giftvoucher is the ideal way to surprise someone on their birthday. Upon your contact and request we organise and supply the ride and whatever other requests there may be.

Q: Can I choose the horse I would like to ride ?

A: Most definitely.We have three horses to choose from; two gray geldings Pesto and Blue and a chocolate appaloosa mare Mhara.

Q : How old my children have to be to undertake this activity ?

A : To ride a horse, the child should be 2 years of age minimum, and these rides are  in the round arena .

Q: I am having problem with my horse, he is not really listening to me, can you help?

A:Yes. Birthday horses are all trained and educated in the way of Natural Horsemanship, where we listen to our  horses and work together. We do not use bits, spurs or riding crops. We can help you  with basic horse education,grooming,nutrition and anything you feel would help you and your horse to be happy doing things together. We can also recommend different types of literature that you may like to read in your own time. Birthdayhorses customers obtain any information or initial help for free.
